Justin Timberlake - Like I Love You feat. Clipse (Justified, 2002)
“Like I Love You" is a song recorded by American singer Justin Timberlake featuring hip-hop duo Clipse for his debut studio album Justified (2002). Released in 2002, the Neptunes-produced single peaked at #11 on the U.S.Billboard Hot 100. It also peaked at #2 in the United Kingdom. The song’s drums were an ode to the funk era according to producer Pharrell Williams, who came up with the music loop. This track received a nomination at the Grammy Awards of 2003 for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.

The Roots - You Got Me feat. Jill Scott & Eve (Home Grown! The Beginners Guide to Understanding the Roots, Volume One, 1999/2005)
"You Got Me" was co-written by musician Jill Scott, who recorded vocals for the song’s chorus and bridge. Her part was subsequently re-recorded by Badu at the insistence of MCA Records, who wanted a higher-profile collaboration for the album’s official lead single (at the time, Scott was relatively unknown outside of Philadelphia). When the group later went on tour, Scott joined them during performances of the song. The original version was later released on the 2005 compilation Home Grown! The Beginners Guide to Understanding the Roots, Volume One.
